In June, a team from Comprehensive Planning and Performance Assessment System (CPAS) unit based at UNHQ came to MINURSO to support the Mission in its fourth annual impact assessment during which civilian and military components jointly reviewed data collected throughout the year, discussed progress, and formulated recommendations for the consideration of Mission’s leadership. The team also provided tailored training sessions on the CPAS methodology.

CPAS was rolled out in MINURSO in December 2019 in line with the Action for Peacekeeping (A4P) initiative launched by the UN Secretary-General in 2018.
