On 8 March 2022, MINURSO commemorated International Women’s Day under the theme “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”.
MINURSO lost one if its longest serving staff members this week. Omar Al-Khateeb passed away after a heart attack on Sunday 27 February 2022. The Mission honoured him at an all staff Town Hall.
