On 1 August, MINURSO observed the National Day of Switzerland by hoisting the country’s flag at the Mission HQ next to the UN flag.

On 20 July, MINURSO observed Colombia’s Independence Day by hoisting the national flag at the Mission’s HQ in Laayoune and at the Team Site Oum Dreyga, where two Colombian female officers from the Army and the Navy are deployed.

On 11 July, MINURSO marked the celebration of Mongolia’s State Flag Day at the Mission’s Team Site Tifariti where one of MINURSO’s Mongolian peacekeepers is posted.
