During the discussion session, female UNMOs stressed the importance of these targeted presentations focusing on specific challenges faced by women UN Military Observers and highlighted that these interventions provided important additional information to help them adapt successfully to life in the challenging conditions of the Sahara Desert. “Sharing and caring keep us smiling”, Colonel Rahman stated at the end of the discussion, the first of several being coordinated by MINURSO’s Bangladeshi Medical Unit.
