On 30 May , MINURSO celebrated Croatia’s National Day by raising the country’s flag at the Mission Headquarters in Laayoune next to the UN flag. On this day, Croatia celebrates the constitution of the first modern multi-party Croatian Parliament  in 1990.

Today we pay tribute to the more than 76,000 United Nations peacekeepers who embody humanity’s highest ideal: peace.
