On 29 April 2010 at MINURSO HQ, Laayoune, was held the Team Sites Commanders Conference. The Conference was chaired by the Force Commander Major-General Zhao and inaugurated by the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Western Sahara and head of MINURSO Mr. Hany Abdel-Aziz.

On 29 April 2010 at MINURSO HQ, Laayoune, was held the Team Sites Commanders Conference. The Conference was chaired by the Force Commander Major-General Zhao and inaugurated by the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Western Sahara and head of MINURSO Mr. Hany Abdel-Aziz.
During the opening address, the SRSG Abdelaziz hailed the sense of duty and commitment of the MINURSO military personnel calling as constant search of effectiveness and adhesion to the UN values and principles.
The aim of the Conference is to provide update information and analysis to the Team Sites Commanders (Smara, Mehaires, Awsard, Oum Dreyga, Bir Lahlou, Mahbas, Agwanit, Tifarity, Mijek).
Military and civilian head of sections as well as officers from the Office of the SRSG briefed the attendants, who also toke parts to debates, panels and discussions.
