On 1 October, MINURSO raised the flag of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) at the Mission HQ to mark the country’s National Day.

The UN Deputy Military Advisor, Major-General Maureen O’Brien (Ireland), arrived on 12 September from UN Headquarters for a three-week visit to MINURSO.  It’s not General O’Brien’s first time in Western Sahar

On 16 September, MINURSO observed Mexico’s national day by raising the Mexican flag at the Mission HQ in Laayoune.
