On 30 March 2023, MINURSO held a farewell military parade in honour of the Acting Force Commander Major General Chowdhury Md Main Ullah (Bangladesh), who is leaving MINURSO after serving the Mission during a critical period marked by exceptional challenges.

On 06 March, MINURSO celebrated Ghana’s National Day by raising its flag at the Mission headquarters in Laayoune next to the UN flag. On this day, Ghana marks its independence from the United Kingdom in 1957.
On 02 March 2023, MINURSO launched activities celebrating IWD, this year being celebrated under the theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”.
On 21 February, MINURSO Acting Force Commander, Major General Chowdhury Md Main Ullah (Bangladesh), alongside members of Bangladeshi Medical Unit presided over a ceremony in MINURSO HQ commemorating the International Mother Language Day.
