On 23 March 2011, the G-2/G-3 Conference was held at MINURSO HQ in Laayoune. The Conference was chaired by the OIC HoM/Force Commander Major-General Zhao.
On 23 March 2011 MINURSO circulated the second issue of "Dynamism" which tackles mainly some recent activities undertaken by the mission.
On 06 March 2011, MINURSO celebrated the 54th anniversary of Ghana National Day. The ceremony was inaugurated with a military parade within MINURSO HQ in Laayoune during which the flag of Republic of Ghana was raised next to that of the United Nations.
MINURSO circulates the first issue of the Front Office newsletter "Dynamism" related mostly to SRSG's activities Mr. Hany Abdel-Aziz. This issue goes over some recent events that took place in MINURSO in brief and concise way.
On Thursday, 27 January 2011 the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Western Sahara and head of MINURSO, Hany Abdel-Aziz, held a Town Hall Meeting. The Town Hall was focused on the results of the recent survey on a positive work environment launched by DPKO and DFS.
On 19 December 2010, MINURSO carried out a CASEVAC (Causalities Evacuation) in response to an emergency request. A pregnant woman experiencing severe problems was airlifted from Mehaires (Western Sahara) to Tindouf (Algeria).

At the Mission HQ there was a ceremony of the Transfer of Responsibility between the Malaysian Medical Unit (MMU, outgoing) and the Bangladeshi Medical Unit

On 8 April 2010, MINURSO (UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara) celebrated the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action with a specific programme organized by the MACC (Mine Action Coordination Centre) to commemorate landmine and UXO victims across the world a
