Between 7 to 13 May 2019, Jack Christofides, Director of Northern Africa Division, Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs and Peace Operations visited MINURSO. He had extensive meetings with the Mission leadership and received briefings on MINURSO operational and logistical activities. In the presence of the SRSG Colin Stewart and other MINURSO leadership, he addressed MINURSO staff at a town hall. During his stay, Christofides visited several Team Sites and the Tindouf Liaison Office and had meetings with the parties’ representatives and officials.
